The Electronic Pre-Press (EPP) Department takes the color accurate computer file and has the printing plates engraved. AI's pressmen will then hang the plates, and start the press running to get a proper amount of ink on the plate images for printing. Once color is correct, the actual job will start to run.

Color tests will be taken throughout the print run to ensure that the color is stable. Once the artwork is printed at the quantity of paper ordered, the paper is moved to inventory.We welcome customers to come to our facility for a press check to ensure proper color when printing the sublimation papers. If no press check is requested, a signed release is required giving AI permission to match art to signed approved color comp using our best judgment.

If samples are requested, the desired design/art work will be transferred on either AI poly (AI's House Material: 92% Poly 8% Spandex) or your own fabric block, cuts or blanks which you would supply to AI. A Purchase order must be submitted to AI for sample orders of any size. Once a sample purchase order has been submitted with all necessary information, a file of the requested artwork is printed digitally. Digitally printed samples provide you with an accurate example of what your chosen design will look like when it goes through production in a quick and timely manner.
